Registration

Registration for the School will be held in the foyer of Fulton House (building 17 on the campus map) on Sunday 6th of July from 4.30pm until 7.00pm.

Late registration will be possible during the coffee break on Monday.

If you have arranged to stay extra night on Friday 11th July then you will need to pay £30.25 in cash during the registration.

Accommodation and check-in

Accommodation has been reserved for all participants in Preseli Residence (building 20 on the campus map). The rooms will be available from 2pm on Sunday 6th July (unless you made special arrangements with us).

To check in, go directly to Preseli Residence reception to get the key to your room from a porter. You do not need to go to registration desks first!

The porter at Preseli Residence is available 24hrs a day and late check-in not a problem at all.

Several ways how to reach the campus are explained on our Travel Information page.

Parking on campus

If you are driving, on-campus parking is possible on a first-come first-serve basis (though there is unlikely to be a problem outside of term time). You can briefly park your car in front of the Preseli Residence (building 20 on the campus map) to get the key and to unload your luggage. Then you are free to use the university car parks, provided you display a slip proving that you are a school participant. Ask the porter at Preseli for the parking slip and further parking instructions.

Refectory

All on campus breakfasts, lunches and dinners as scheduled in the Programme will be served in the refectory on the 1st floor of Fulton House (building 17 on the campus map)

Main venue

All lectures will be held in the Mathematics Department Seminar Room (room 224 on the 2nd floor of the Talbot Building, labeled 8.3 on the campus map).

Please note that the best way to access Talbot's Building is via the main entrance to the Faraday Tower (8.1 on the campus map). There will be clear signs indicating directions to the Maths Department starting from the entrance foyer of the Faraday Tower

Facilities for presentations

The lecture room will be equipped with both slide and data projectors, and black boards.
For presentations using the data projector we could provide a laptop, so bring a pdf file of your presentation on a USB memory stick.

WiFi on campus

At the registration desk of the school, each participant will obtain a temporarily computer account which gives access to some computers on campus and on-campus wireless network. On campus WiFi has a good coverage. You should be able to connect to Internet from your room at Preseli (if you bring a WiFi enabled laptop with you).
